In a corner of the market, you can always find Qman. Wooden crates, copper cups, old woven blankets—mixed with the scent of natural soy wax and essential oils—everything carries a vintage charm. That was our first encounter. I simply stopped, asked if these were candles, picked up one to smell, and ended up buying two. I was drawn to the fragrance, perhaps also to the aura and style of the maker.

Qman is from Taiwan, and together with his wife, they built a life around handmade candles, pouring warmth and persistence into each small flame. Recently, they welcomed a new identity—parents. With their baby daughter’s arrival, their craft has become an even more intimate extension of home.
They love the market. It is not only a place of trade, but a gathering of lifestyles. Friends with shared passions often stop by for a scent, a cup, or a conversation. In their hands, candles are not only objects—they are reflections of life and bridges between people.

As they often say: These candles, each made slowly with warmth and care, reignite familiar scents and let beautiful moments continue.
Light a flame, and the fragrance fills the room, as if returning you to a sweet memory of your own. Whether enjoyed in solitude or with a loved one, the air becomes filled with happiness. More than a pleasant smell, it feels like a journey of fragrance unfolding slowly.
In the early hours of work, in the stillness of the afternoon, or when thoughts need to be sorted, a candle becomes the quietest companion. Time burns gently, fragrance whispers softly, and one candle can last through three books, keeping you company late into the night.

For Qman, fragrance is not just a scent—it is an attitude. They use it to spark moments of inspiration. Each fragrance is a design of its own, unique and memorable, matching not only moods but personalities, becoming something by which you can be remembered.
Across miles, their scents continue to linger softly. In the flicker of candlelight, even time feels tender. May this small flame light up every corner of your life.

We once worked together for two years, but when the pandemic forced their physical shop to close, we gradually lost touch. Yet they never stopped. On the contrary, their candle-making has only grown stronger and more distinctive.
I often think, if their candles could be shared through an independent website, reaching more people, it would be wonderful. These works are part of local culture itself—authentic, unique, and deeply personal—deserving to be seen and cherished by many more.

Please stay tuned for our brand updates—we’ll keep bringing you inspiring creations and authentic local culture. In this shared journey of beauty and harmony, you’ll surely find something you love or meet kindred spirits along the way. The diversity of life and culture brings us together to share a wonderful world.
